The location of the hostel is distant from the "center" of Santo André, where the restaurants are located, which were mostly closed due to the mourning and reconstruction of the village due to the heavy rains that punished him.There are no open pharmacies!The nearest is in Santo Antônio.I had a fever and, luckily, the waitress of one of the few open restaurants gave me a medicine.The streets are poorly lit and bumpy, with pockets of rainwater and mud.The transportation on the highway is precarious.The crowds that said they pass "every time" do not pass ... all this turned the exit of the hostel a great adventure and not pleasant.It is also good to note that the days I stayed did not sunbathe, alternating between rains and many clouds.

I loved the stay at Village Mata Encantada.I stayed in the room, in the tree, overlooking the sea.The room is very comfortable and has beautiful view.Breakfast is a delight.Every day Mayon presented us with delicious warm breads made, with all the affection, for her.There was also homemade yogurt and granola, as well as delicious jelly prepared by Ueli, as well as juices, fresh fruits, etc.The couple Mayon and Ueli, as well as Jeniffer, welcomed us very well, with great sympathy and availability.It was wonderful holidays in a beautiful and cozy inn.Nothing like sleeping in the woods with the noise of the wind, the sea and the small animals.There is also Paulo, a very cute dog that cheered our breakfast.

It was a very good experience!Stay in a large house with spacious rooms with cleaning service.Great for those who like nature, you really feel in the middle of the woods, all well green around.It has a good pool, with coffee shop and great pies, has a nice lookout, and is foot in the sand.(We don't use breakfast)

House on the tree, beautiful and super comfortable, in the middle of the woods and close to the beach.Wonderful pool for use including nightly (colored lighting), delicious breakfast, entitled to bread, scrambled eggs, tapioca, jelly, yogurt and other handcrafted items.Space for relax, mirador, cold beer and all the quiet of the world.The owner is lovely and gives tips on good tours and restaurants.We were able to check in early and bathe after the checkout.The experience was amazing.We will come back for sure.

The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, but what we liked most was the setting - we were surrounded by the lush and original vegetation of the “mata atlantico”, just a few steps away from a beautiful and empty beach. We also really appreciated the common area, especially the pool and the delicious home-made Açaí.

Some of the pans need to be replaced, and there could be propre mosquito nets on the doors and windows, otherwise there’s nothing I can think of.

We just liked everything.For us, the stay at Village Mata Encantada was a small trip to paradise.The tree house is very nice and the location surrounded by trees and yet right on the beach is unique.The freshly baked breads from Mayo were delicious.The fresh fruits, the yogurt, the granola and the acai by the pool were also fantastic.We felt very comfortable with Ueli and Mayo and can absolutely recommend the Village Mata Encantada.

The bed was a little too soft for us, but I think everyone feels it differently.

For me, the breakfast was great.For some of the group, more attached to the habits, the traditional orange juice was missed (they didn't like the various juices available).I consider Village kills enchanted especially wonderful for those with children, as in our case, these days.With my granddaughter, 3, I think it was the best option we could have had.Exceeded our expectations.
