The Sumidouro State Park was created in the 1980s, through State Decree number 20.375 and has as its main objective, to preserve the entire cultural and regional heritage of the region, besides promoting environmental education and ecotourism actions.The park is composed of attractions such as Lagoa and Lapa do Sumidouro with rock paintings of thousands of years and the Lapinha Cave.
