About

The Felicia Leirner Museum, an institution administered by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economics in partnership with Acam Portinari (Cultural Support Association of the House of Portinari Museum), a social organization of culture, based in Brodowski (SP), was inaugurated in 1978 and It occupies approximately 35,000 m2 within a fragment of the Atlantic Forest, an important Brazilian biome, in Campos do Jordão (SP).The institution's performance takes place in three axes: in the visual arts, represented by the 86 sculptures made by the artist who names the museum, considered one of the most important sculptures in Brazil, in music, represented by the Auditorium Claudio Santoro, stage of Mais Important Festival of Classical Music in Latin America, and in the environmental heritage, represented by the area where the museum is located.
